May 2003:Signature of an agreement with the Germany’s PFLEIDERER WIND ENERGY GmbH for the production and marketing in North America of high-performance wind turbines.
January 2004:Beginning of negotiations with German wind turbine manufacturer FUHRLÄNDER AG, who acquired PFLEIDERER WIND ENERGY GmbH’s wind turbine inventory.
June 2004:Signature of a technological transfer agreement whit FUHRLÄNDER AG giving to AAER SYSTEMS Inc. the manufacturing and marketing rights for high-performance wind turbines for the North America, France and UK markets.
May 2005:Conclusion of a qualifying transaction with publicly-held BOLCAR ÉNERGIE Inc., trading symbol BOE.P at the TSX Venture Exchange. On May 25, 2006, AAER SYSTEMS Inc. becomes a fully-owned subsidiary of BOLCAR ÉNERGIE Inc., trading under the symbol BOE.
December 2006: Merger between AAER SYSTEMS Inc. and BOLCAR ÉNERGIE Inc. into the entity AAER Inc.
January 2007: Announcement of the implantation of AAER's plant for nacelle assembly and blade manufacturing on the site of the former Hyundai plant in Bromont, Quebec.
April 2007:Signature of a memorandum of understanding with IEC HOLDEN Inc. for the supply of generators.
May 2007:Signature of a patent use agreement with GE for its variable speed technology for wind turbines.
July 2007: Signature of a memorandum of understanding with VALOREM SAS for the manufacturing and marketing of its technology in Europe.
August 2007:
Reception of an advanced notice of qualification/technological maturity from Hydro-Québec with respect to the 2,000 MW call for tenders.
Conclusion of agreements with the cities of Chandler and Ste-Anne des Monts (both in Quebec) for its regional content with respect to the 2,000 MW call for tenders issued by Hydro-Québec.
September 2007:
Announcement of the private placement and the equity participation of SKYPOWER Corp., a LEHMAN BROTHERS affiliate, in AAER Inc.
Reception of the qualifying notice of Hydro-Québec regarding the Modeling of the electric behavior of each proposed wind turbine technology whit respect to the 2,000 MW call for tenders.
October 2007:
Signature of licensing agreements with AMERICAN SUPERCONDUCTORS for the manufacture and marketing of a 2 MW wind turbine (designed by WINTEC-AMSC) with synchronous generator for the North American, French and UK markets.
Signature of a licensing agreement with EUROS GmbH for the manufacture of turbine blades at AAER's Bromont plant.
February 2008:
Creation of the European division AAER SAS Inc. in partnership whit VALOREM SAS for the distribution of AAER's A-2000 wind turbines in France.
March 2008:
Signature of an agreement whit AAER SAS for the delivery of its first 2.0 MW wind turbine, for Criel Énergies SARL site in Criel-sur-Mer, France.
April 2008:
Creation of the American division AAER USA Inc. and acquisition of Wind-Smart LLC, a Rhode Island consulting company dedicated to the development of community wind projects.
Signature of a supply agreement for the delivery of its first 1.5 MW wind turbine in the US to the Town of Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
Signature of a reservation agreement whit Windland Inc. for two 1.5 MW wind turbine for their wind farm project in Tehachapi, California.
Conclusion of a long-term supply partnership whit Metallurgy Castech and Plessitech for the hubs casting and crafting.
May 2008:
Signature of an agreement for the delivery of one 1.5 MW wind turbine to the U.S. Marine Corps Logistics Base in Barstow, California.
Manufacturer warranty insurance program secured. This insurance policy has been devised with the collaboration of Holmes Murphy & Associates and the Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company of Canada, (BI&I), a division of the HSB Group, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of American International Group, Inc. (NYSE: AIG).
June 2008:
Breaking ground at the future site of the first AAER wind turbine sold to the United States, at the Town of Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
July 2008:
Breaking ground at the U.S. Marine Corps Logistics Base 1.5 MW project in Barstow, California.
