Mechanical parts warranty

Basic warranty:
The basic mechanical warranty covers all components of the wind turbine for a period of 2 years, including parts, labour and equipment necessary to replace the parts.

Extended warranty:
AAER Inc. offers a warranty that may be extended to year 5. The coverage is the same as that of the basic warranty.

Power curve warranty:

The warranty on the power curve covers 95% of the power curve, as described in the wind turbine’s main specifications.

Sound level warranty:

AAER Inc. guarantees the sound level produced by the wind turbine, as described in the turbine’s main specifications.

Warranty on availability:

AAER Inc.’s standard availability warranty comes into effect as of the start of the operation, maintenance and service agreement and is fix at a level of 95% of the average calculated operational availability of all the wind turbines within the project calculated over a period of 6 months. Greater coverage may be discussed on a project by project basis. The duration of the availability warranty is the same as that of the operation, maintenance and service agreement.
